Basmati rice (uncooked, this is equivalent to 450 g cooked basmati rice) 200g
Carrots 150g
Green peppers 150g
Tinned pineapple (drained weight) 100g
Soy sauce 2tbsp
Garlic 3cloves
Onion 40g
Rapeseed oil 4tbsp
Sweet Chilli Sauce for Chicken 3tsp
Salt, pepper, paprika powder
Preparation
Cook the basmati rice according to the instructions. Wash vegetables. Peel the onion, garlic and carrots. Remove the seeds from the peppers. Finely dice the onion, garlic and coarsely dice the vegetables and pineapple. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the onions and garlic until they turn golden brown. Add the basmati rice over medium heat and fry for 3 min. Season with soy sauce, sweet chilli sauce, salt, pepper and paprika powder. Add the vegetables, sauté for approx. 5 min. and season again before serving. Tip: Cook the basmati rice on the previous day.
